I know I am supposed to be posting about the poultry show yesterday, but I haven't had time to sit down like I want to and talk about it all. I have eggs pipping and I have been shuffling birds around and getting ready for the babies that are coming. I slept late this morning, so I have been behind all day with my regular chores and animal chores. I sit here now at one minute til 8 and I got to go whip up some supper in about twenty minutes time..guess its a spaghetti night eh? I am loading some pictures onto Photobucket to use with my next entry...so be patient and I will be back as soon as I can. Tomorrow I have to go see Joe (the goat man, remember I bought the emu babies from him). He has a llama that has overgrown teeth, and probably is going to need a toenail trim. I have been reading up today about how to trim the toenails, but the teeth may be more of a challenge, we will see. I will be back with a good entry soon...in the meantime, if you look on my sidebar, you will see that Babe won Reserve Champion Continental. :) I am proud of her. The tag is the only thing I have to show though...the plaques and trophies at this show were limited to Class Champions, Champion Large Fowl, Reserve Champion Large Fowl, Super Grand Champion and Reserve Super Grand Champion. Every show is different as to what they give out in awards, but I can still say she won her place in the show.
More later...got to go get some supper on, Ian will be home in fifteen minutes...

You are a busy lady for sure. Will wait for more to come when you have time. Spagetti always seems to hit the spot.
You are also very brave, I can't imagine how that pedicure is going to go and the dental work, but I bet you can do it. Babe rocks!
You need another set or two of hands and arms. Congrats to Babe! Linda in Washington state
I'd be afraid it would cost me my fingers and toes to do the dental and a pedicure on a Llama but if anyone can do it, you can. You sure are braver than me.
So glad for you that they keep winning. They definitely deserve to.
Spaghetti is great every once in awhile. I always make too much though. Don't know how to just cook small.
I wonder if sometime when Katie gets big how I'd go about getting an incubator and some eggs and letting her watch the process.
I get behind too. Tomorrow ought to be better.
Hugs, Ne
Congrats on your win. I think that Llama would be a challenge to try to work with. Looking forward to seeing all your chick pics. Hugs, Helen
Server of excellent quality. I found a lot of information on the topic of interest to me. It was interesting to read, and other cognitive information
